What are your favorite advantages working as a nurse?

I'm conducting primary research for a term paper, as well as learning more about my chosen field of study.

I am excited to become a nurse for the travel opportunities. Please share what you would define as your favorite benefits of the career.

Also, I intend to continue on in Medical School as I work as a nurse, to eventually become a doctor. I wonder what benefits a career in nursing before becoming a doctor would give.
