Wharton County Junior College Ranking Criteria Question

After 15 years of being a stay at home mom, I am planning to return to school and am very interested in pursuing a career in nursing! I live in Wharton and am working on prerequisites for the ADN program at WCJC. Many years ago, fresh out of high school, I attended college and basically partied and goofed off and did terribly. Sadly this has left me with a horrendous GPA that I can't escape. My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0, but my overall is still sad and hopeless because of my youthful indiscretions. Does anyone know if WCJC only goes by Prerequisite GPA, or do they look at the overall when ranking for admissions? I don't want to keep taking courses and working towards nursing if there is no realistic way for me to get accepted. I've sent an email inquiring and I plan to call and speak with the Program secretary after the holiday break, but that's over a week away and I thought maybe someone would know. :) Thanks!
