Hi everyone, as I reach 2 years of bedside nursing, I feel that I am ready to pursue my masters degree at WGU. Upon researching the types of MSN Programs, I find each degree specialty to be equally fascinating and would appreciate any input from anybody that is/has enrolled in the following:
1. Nursing - Education
2. Nursing - Nursing Informatics
3. Nurse - Family Nurse Practitioner
(all of them are BSN to MSN)
What are your thoughts on the program? Is the job outlook after graduating challenging? Do you feel that the program has prepared you well for your current job that relates to your masters specialty? Let me know!
Warmly,
A curious nurse who wants to do everything but realizes she can't afford 3 types of degrees / certificates
