Westchester Community College 2011

Anybody on here for WCC take the 2011 TEAS? I studied my butt off and was disappointed with a 81.3% Just curios how everybody else applying did.

I've heard that with this new version of TEAS, the average is around 10 points lower! Just look below your score for the "percentile rank". That will let you know how you compare with everyone else who took the test. I got into WCC nursing program Fall 2010 and my percentile rank was 97, but I think other people got in with around 95 rank. This is for the Evening program. Good luck!

Thanks so much for responding. I am trying to get into the evening program. A woman from admissions called me today to confirm that I preferred evening, she shortly called back again in search of my official transcript. I asked her if they would place me in either if i was "placeable" and she said, "don't worry sweetie your in good shape." I guess time will tell! I'm keeping my fingers crossed. How do you like the program so far???

I think it's interesting, but alot of work, especially because I took Pharmacology last semester and Micro this semester! I would recommend taking the summer Pharmacology class because it is very hard, so get it out of the way before starting nursing classes!

Good luck =) I also got a call, my TEAS score was a tiny bit lower than yours and she confirmed with me that I was going for Evening RN, I said yes , she asked for my official transcript and transfer credits to be sent over, and she ended the conversation with "We're sending out letters soon! that's all I'm going to say!" I'm just waiting now.... at least they're considering since they're asking for transcripts :)

That is almost the exact same convo we had except she said your in good shape rather than letter. Have you gotten anything yet?? I haven't

No letter yet either, the 2010 WCC forum started getting their letters in June.

Does anyone know if they admit our pre-requisite course grades for getting into the program?

Somebody just posted on WCC facebook page that she got an acceptance letter...
