Westchester Community College Spring 2015 ADN Program

Hey All...

I'm applying for Westchester Community College's ADN Spring 2015 program and I just took my TEAS V exam last week....scored an 80%(Advance standing). I know this is kind of low but the proctor did tell me that not a lot of people applied for the Spring semester. She also stated that the nursing department is hoping to start notifying people the first week in July....which would be great....since it's the wait time that kills us!! Is anybody else attempting to get into WCC's ADN program for Spring 2015? I'd like to hear what you scored and if you've heard anything throught the grapevine. :nurse:

I graduated from WCC NP May of 2012. I scored an 84% on the TEAS and had all my pre reqs prior to admission to the evening program. I know they changed the admission process and give a TEAS test every semester. With a score of 80% you have a decent chance of getting in. My one piece of advice to you when it comes to applying to any NP is don't listen to other people. You could have scored a 95% on the TEAS and people will still tell you that you wont get in. If you don't get in just keep taking the TEAS. Took me two attempts and two years. Good luck.

I emailed the nursing department and acceptance letters are going out next week? We shall see if my score was good enough to get me in. :scrying:

You might get a phone call also before the letter comes if your accepted....stay near the phone :nailbiting:
