Nursing Students School Programs

Hello! I was looking for some advice regarding WCU. I currently have a BS in Biology from CSULB (graduated 2015) and I have decided to go back to school to become an RN. I've been trying to complete my prerequisites to apply to an ADN program at a couple community colleges, but I've had a rough time making it past the wait list for about 3 classes (human anatomy, human physio, microbiology).

I looked at Stanbridge and WCU and decided to go for the BSN at WCU. I'm in the middle of my admissions process and I've come to a road block when it comes to financial aid and taking out loans. Since I already have a BS, I don't qualify for grants or any federal aid. I was told that with my transfer unit (22) I can finish in about 2.5 years, but it'll cost me $36k per year ($9k of which I can get from a federal loan). So I'll have to make up the rest on my own. I'm keeping in mind that I am still in debt for about $36k from CSULB.

I'm concerned about the numbers, but I don't really see any other options for myself. I'm currently working full time in a non-medical field and I really want to get started on this career path. Does anyone have any advice when it comes to paying back these huge loans or how they are coping with paying them back after they finished at WCU?
