hi!!!
i am from hawaii and really interested in transferring to wcu asap. i've taken majority of all the pre-reqs but not sure if the pre-reqs i've taken here are equivalent to the classes at wcu. so, if anyone knows if there's a credit transfer database or website that can tell me what classes are equivalent to wcu. any additional information is helpful too. i checked out the website but not all info in on there. unfortunetly, i am all the way here in hawaii and cannot go to anaheim until this summer and wanted to know more information before i go. other things on my mind is if this school is legit, accredited (bc i read somewhere that it wasn't), housing, and overall if it is a good school. i hope someone can help me or provide me with information.
thanks!!!

hey girl...
so here's the deal i'm currently a student and i'm in the straight bsn program. it seems like the general consensus with students at west coast is that everyone is going there because it was the first place that took them and we were all sick of waiting lists...but it definitly would not be our first choice....reasons being, it is definitly not a traditional college it is more of a building not a campus just one building so def no housing. it's really new program but it is approved by the board of california and they are working on getting a higher accredidation. as of right now with out the accredidation all it means is you would have a harder time getting into a public masters program but most private schools take west coasts current accredidation. so another downfall is the price if you have no pre-reqs and are starting fresh its like 116,000 i had a lot of my sciences done so it worked out to 90,000 which is still a ton but i'm sick of waiting for a community college to accept me so thats why i'm paying the big bucks. i think there are a ton of better schools the only plus to this program is there aren't really any waiting lists and the program is quicker than most. lame part is its a business so they are totally taking advantge of the fact that so many people want to go to nursing school and jacking up the prices...anyway let me know if you have any more questions.
hey! thanks for replying back
Since you've taken your sciences before going to wcu, how long will it take you before you are finish with the program?
have you started the nursing classes it? how are they? difficult? and how are the professors? and any other useful information?
I start in november but want to know how the school is since i'm in Hawaii and won't really know till I get there. I've taken majority of the pre-reqs, just need to take what's not offered at the community colleges here.
Thanks!!!!
