West Chester RN to BSN or Another Program in the Philly Area

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting so forgive me if I'm posting in the wrong spot. I'm currently going to a community college in the Philadelphia area and I'm looking ahead to try to figure out where I want to get my BSN. I'm looking to go somewhere that's relatively affordable, in the Philly area, and somewhere where I can complete my BSN in a relatively short period of time. I'm willing to sacrifice the affordability for somewhere that has a short program though. I was originally looking into TJU, but the price and the fact that the path to BSN at that school is so different from other schools is turning me off a little bit- so I'm looking for other good options.

My ultimate goal is to become a WHNP/CNM, so I was also looking for programs that were RN to BSN/MSN.

I was looking into West Chester's RN to BSN program and I'm interested in it.. it's affordable and the classes can be done online. The website wasn't very helpful though so I have many unanswered questions. Has anyone attended their program? How was the courseload? Where are their clinical sites and how many clinical hours were there a week? Were you able to easily find a job? How long does it take to complete the program?

If anyone has any suggestions for other programs in the area and some info on them I would greatly appreciate that also!

The Philly job market is beyond saturated.

Go with WCU because it is the cheapest path to your goals. If you don't have the desire to work as a staff nurse long term, cost should be the only deciding factor.

Drexel, TJU, and other private schools will put you in the same position as WCU for tens of thousands more.
