Hey guys I want some advice. I went on my interview 2 weeks ago, it went great and a day later (friday) they asked for my references. I sent it and my criminal check, and the lady thanked me on Monday morning.
Now two weeks later and...nothing? They haven't checked my references like they said they would and when I emailed them they said "a recruiter will get back to you shortly"
I'm assuming this means I did not get the job?? What would take so long and why ask for references and not check them?!
This is the only interview and call back I have heard in SIX MONTHS so I am desparate to get any news! Please let me know if you have had a similar process
