I started my Dream Job in October. 2 days before I was due to finish orientation, I experienced major illness. It took 3 weeks to get medical clearance to return to work. I finished my orientation this week, and have had a whopping 2 evenings on my own. There's been some scheduling weirdness d/t my extended absence and the holidays. There's
pressure to put in overtime, too, but I'm not exactly medically cleared for that. I got some pretty weird vibes from my primary nurse supervisor while trying to work out next week's schedule. (No, I can't be more specific about the vibes; call it intuition.) I guess I'm just looking for talking points around return to work and limitations and being new to practice/ reassuring pats on the head that this will all be okay.
