Hello, I'm looking into west coast university as a possible BSN option instead of going the cheaper ADN rout. I'm slightly nervous since it is a for profit school and having all my pre nursing classes done, i would hate to waste so much money on a school that won't give me a job or prepare me enough for the nclex at the end. so a couple questions, were there any issues with the actual curriculum? did you feel semi prepared once you did find a job? were you discriminated against for going to a forprofit school? please leave your experiences. thanks

Some people in hiring positions won't even look at resumes from WCU job applicants. Other hospitals black list those resumes due to experiences with graduates from the past.
From what I understand, expect to do a lot of self-teaching at WCU. There does not appear to be much mentorship or support from staff.
