Hi there!
If you are currently in the U.S. and working at a hospital, check with your unit to get ACLS/PALS/BLS certified. If you're actively working as a RN, you should already have your BLS, it is a requirement. ACLS/PALS - check with your Nurse Educator (you can usually get these certifications paid for by your hospital). I would recommend becoming a AACN member (not only will you get the benefits of being a member, you will pay less to take the CCRN Exam and will find numerous study materials on the website). I would not do online certifications...some are scams. Go through your place of employment! Good luck!
P.S. Follow/shadow a CRNA first...then determine if that is the right path for you!
Hi there thank you for your reply..and I am also thinking to become a member of AACN as you said but I am not working in any hospital here . I am on my student visa and presently I am doing masters in HSA and I am looking to switch my course to CRNA so I am just asking if I find any good online source for ACLS can i do it..?? Also please tell me about the CCRN examination like how it will be and is it very hard..??
