U.S.A. Washington

Anyone going to be RN residency in Multicare this May? I just got an offer in Tacoma General Hospital. I'm excited and somewhat nervous

I replied to your private message! Thanks soo much for messaging me, I know that post was from a while back!

Hey m.lorieann, BSN!

I saw your message to me but unfortunately the site wasn't allowing me to private message you for some reason. I'm glad you were able to stumble upon my post. I would be more than happy to answer any of your questions. I am halfway through the residency program for the NICU at Tacoma General Hospital. You should definitely apply for the May cohort!! I was an out of state applicant from Nevada and ended up moving back home to Washington due to this amazing residency opportunity. I am loving everything about the residency program, it's a good mixture of classes and shifts on the floor. Management, educators, preceptors, and NICU staff are so supportive.

That's awesome you're from Hawaii, which island? I was born on Maui and my whole dad's side still resides there.

Actually I don't know if my PM actually went through either haha. I was born on Molokai, but I've been living on Oahu longer! It's so nice to have met 2 people from Hawaii already! I have so many questions about the program since my interview is coming up next week! If you could text me at eightzeroeight four2nine 6one5zero, I could reply a lot faster because I always see these notifications late!

Can anybody shine some light on what kind of questions they ask? I am also out of state (from California) and I have a phone interview with the hiring managers tomorrow. Also, how long were your interviews? Thank you!

What unit? I think the interviews are very different depending on the unit. For example my interview in the nicu was about 1.5 hours.

I interviewed for PCU. I just got the email to send them my references. Ahh, I'm so nervous! I just hope my license will come in time since there is only a few weeks until the start date.

I got my offer letter today guys! Did you guys all find housing in the Tacoma area? if so, where? And, is anyone still looking for roommates?

Congratulations!!!!!! When did you send in your endorsement application? I applied in March and I have a WA license number but it's still not active... Text me!!! 8084296150!
