WANTED: Shadow opportunity

hello! thanks for taking the time to read my post.

my name is marcy and i am a senior nursing student in my final semester.

as a clinical requirement this semester, we have been asked to seek out and arrange our own four-hour observational experience shadowing a nurse in a specialty which we do not cover in our nursing curriculum, or in which we have a strong interest.

i am very interested in learning more about pediatric home health nursing, or nursing at a facility specifically for children (voorhees pediatric facility in nj comes to mind). i realize that this is a specialty that i could not enter as a brand new nurse, but that's kind of the objective of the assignment.

i am seeking a benevolent pediatric nurse whom i can shadow for a half day. i'm in the southern new jersey area, but could travel anywhere in nj, the metro philadelphia area, delaware, or even nyc. i have a letter of introduction from my school, and a school id if you have any concerns about my credibility or intentions. :)

today was the first day of our semester; i need to have this arranged by friday, february 6. can anyone out there help me out? i'd be eternally grateful.
