Take lots of Biology, Chemistry and math classes! You might want to talk to a counselor as well to see exactly what classes you should take that your school offers.
Good luck! :)

Yes, I agree with Graciee2. Take biology and chemistry because, if you are interested in the maricopa community college nursing program, your high school science classes will count as your science pre-requisites (as long as they are less than 5 years old) and you won't have to take college level BIO and CHEM -- which are (hard). Take algebra too because algebra will help you with the math pre-requisites that will be required at the college level.
You could also take nutrition if your school has something like that and I would highly recommend taking a foreign language -- which one will depend in what part of the country you live. Both will most likely be requried at the university level if you decide to go that route.
I admire you thinking so far ahead. I'm 35 and going back to nursing school for a second career. I wish I would have gone right into it straight from high school the first time around.
Good luck!!
