Waiting List Initiative

I thought i might let you know that at our place 2 senior sisters doing WLI list most weekends. This has been happening for past 6 yrs or so.

Other nurses talk about it as being unfair but are frightened to say anything.

I don't usually do this list (never done one b4) but then i decided that i might do one. My lead nurse told me the next date avaibale, so i put my name on the list yesterday and meant to tell our her today but she found out before i had chance to tell her.

She really got annoyed the fact that i put name, she went on to say that she has already had planned the staff for that day 6 weeks ago, but i told her that the date was only confirmed one week ago and that lead nurse has told me to put my name on it. And guess which staff she had in her mind? her friend (other senior sister). She has put her friends name on the list to do saturday and sunday. I have informed my lead nurse who said that will have word with this sister. What do you think?
