Hello! I have recently heard that WA state requires an online BSN program from a school to have at least ONE campus in state in order to be accredited. I cannot confirm this with the nursing commission because I cannot get a hold of them. I'm hoping to go to Aspen college and they do not have a campus in state. Wondering if anyone else knows if this is true or not.

You can check against WSNA's list of approved programs in the state of WA:
https://www.wsna.org/education/degree-programs
Thank you! Aspen is not on this list unfortunately. However on the Department of Health website it shows Aspen listed on another list. It's so unclear and confusing...

I would likely error with the Department of Health listing over WSNA as the health department issues RN licenses in WA. However, you can always call the Department of Health and ask to be sure.

Thank you, yes, I have called and emailed the department of health. I am going to try them again tomorrow. Thank you for your help.
