Hello my fellow nurses! Finally, I can say that word now! I'm a newly grad and today I received a call from my potential first lvn job.
Here's a little background of myself. I graduated in May this year, took my PN-NCLEX in November and got my license in December. I applied for a job one week ago and they called me back today to ask if I'm still interested. Tomorrow I'm going to go to their facility to fill up some paperwork. I'm assuming that I already got the job and just need some formality of some sort.
I've been out of school for good months and I feel like I have forgotten most of the things I learned in school. I know that once I start working I will relearn everything. I just need to refresh my brain.
I just want to ask everyone (who's reading this) for their tips/advice for this newbie nurse. (What to do, what not to do, how to talk to the doctors, how to be firm, when to not piss off your coworkers... anything, really!) I'm scared but at the same time I'm excited!
Thank you! :)
