Hi ,
I'm a British nurse about to go through a video con. interview for BC
Can anyone tell me what this is like and what kind of questions they will ask?
Thanks

We still do all of our distance interviews by phone, no video yet!!!
But here is an example of some general questions we might use:
- tell us a little of yourself
- what you would do in such and such situation, ie difficult patient, difficult staff member, if a physician insists you give a med you believe is an unsafe dose
- how you demonstrated leadership in a certain situation
- how you promote team work and so on
Then we generally ask clinical questions...eg ideas of how and what you would assess in a patient, everything from chest pain, central line or chest tube care, to fluid and electrolyte balance.
Keep in mind I don't know what area you are looking at. These would be for an acute medical unit, so if you are applying for a specialty area, expect questions applicable to those situations.
Sorry I can't help you more, but this is a start.:)
