Please don't be discouraged. You have the heart and passion, and compassion to be a great nurse. Things will work out! You are determined and have proven to yourself that you CAN, and you WILL get in the program the next time around. Remember, I wrote to you that I didn't make the cut TWICE before I finally was accepted into the program. Don't let this deter your plans. Continue taking classes, one's that will help you obtain your Bachelor's Degree! Remember......stay positive....know that there is a reason for everything. Don't give up.....we all encounter circumstances that don't quite work as we planned, so change gears....just keep heading in the direction of your DREAM!
Don't give up!!! I was in the same situation too. I was sick and tired of being rejected, being on the waiting list, and living at home with my parents, but I finally got accepted! Now I'll be graduating in 2013. You've worked so hard taking the pre-reqs and making yourself a better applicant, so no going back now! Remeber its not because your not a strong applicant, but the problem is there isnt enough space for all the students, so keep on trying!

I was put on the waitlist at my college. I was told by someone in admissions that while I am waiting I could bring my gpa up, to secure me a much better spot on the waitlist. Well, I did, got a 4.0 this spring and spoke with someone and was told that my gpa will not be recalculated:crying2: They said its not fair to students who were denied entry to the nursing program
I am upset and just when things couldn't get worse it does. I am at the point where I don't even care about being a nurse anymore and cannot stand the sight of a RN anymore. This whole experience has turned me off from college and nursing school. it appears that I may have to reapply for Fall 2012. I will have to pack my bags and go back home to an undesirable home environment. this entire experience is stressing me out and wearing on my heart a lot
