Very Frustrated by Instructor

My A&P I instructor is using my class as a test for her new teaching method. Great but the material isn't organized and what is outlined to be learned doesn't appear on the exams. I bombed the first of four lab and lecture exams (four of each). A 75% on lecture and 67% on lab. I don't know how possible it is to get an A as t this point with three exams of each remaining plus a final. I will try. But if not I'll have to delay getting into school until Fall 2020 instead of Spring 2020. In the meantime, I can pass A&P I and focus on an A in A&P II in the Fall (2019).

I know delays and life happen. And so many here have applied so many times (I read where someone applied 5 cycles in a row). What's upsetting is I'm not younger, not at 44. Also, I haven't started at the hospital yet.

How were the class averages? If they're bad, she'll probably curve. If they're fine, then it sounds like everyone else is managing and you need to adjust your study techniques. Also, just from my experience (taught A&P lab for years and helped with the lecture+exam design), what students think "this wasn't in our notes" is usually an application question intended to get you to apply what you've learned. Students tend to focus entirely on memorization, then complain when a university-level class that's a prereq for healthcare professions asks them to think.

I think I'm just adjusting to going back to school. The class is averaging similar results.
