Go to http://WWW.NewStart.com It's a great website and may answer your question. I have a BMI of 39-40 and have some health issues.....OA of both knees, Arthritis in neck, back (lumbar) and hips bilat. I've been 'plump' for over 24 years, but have always hurt...even as a skinny kid....I'm expecting to have the Roux-Y done in about 6-8 months and I can't wait....I've tried everything and this is my 'last hope'.....
Good luck
