Vanderbilt Midwifery

Hey all,

I would love to here personal experience with Vanderbilt's midwifery program? Would you recommend the program? What are some of the pros and cons of Vandy's program, more specifically the specialty portion!?

I'm currently in the Vandy midwifery program. Pros- it's the number one program in the country right now. You don't have to find your own clinical placements. The professors are excellent and generally good at teaching. They have an extremely high first time pass rate on boards. Cons- you have to move to Nashville for the first year then you have to go wherever you're placed. It's super expensive. It's a very fast program if you're someone who likes a slower learning pace.
