Valley is INVALUABLE. I took the exam last week. Studying Valley for the past 3 months has made me much more knowledgeable about every aspect of physiology as well as anesthesia. Memory Master and Sweat book are excellent. However, now that I've taken the exam I would also recommend spending time in Stoelting's co-exisiting disease text.
What worked well for me was reading Morgan and Mikhail, and supplementing my valley notes with the info from M&M. I would read for example the resp. chapter in M&M and add notes to the resp. section in Valley on things that I believed was important to know in addition to the valley notes. I shut off at 90 questions and passed. A lot of my questions required critical thinking and analysis. What I though was funny, and I can now laugh at it is that it must have taken me an hour to answer question #90, just the anxiety of whether or not the computer will shut down!

London, that's the same approach I have taken. I hope it pays off for me on Tuesday!

I was wondering how valuable the Valley Anesthesia review course was to any of the recent grads out there. Do you think it definately prepared you for the quiz.
