Hi Van. Did you receive your final offer or start date yet? I am still waiting for my final offer. Just wondering if there was a bit of a delay for all candidates to get their steps completed.
1/27 - tentative offer 2/1 - fingerprints done 2/9 - e-Qip done 3/3 - physical done 3/9 - vetpro done 3/13 - dimensions, PAE done, per recruiter the board will review I was given tentative start date of 3/27 (pushed back from 3/13) but that's been pushed back because credentialing and physical dates were a bit delayed.

It will ve in texas.. I sent an email that my packet is ready to be evaluated by the board this week and that anticipqte another 3-5 days for signature routing.. my tentative start date is April 4. Do you think I will be able to start kn my start date sjnce its already for board review? How long did it take for your board review?
Boards seem to be pretty subjective and vary widely from VA to VA.
I wish I could give you a time frame, but it is really hard to know.

When did y'all end up starting? I got a tentative offer 8/26, and I'm still waiting on final offer.

I received an offer on 09/29/2023 with a proposed start date that passed over two weeks ago. I'm still waiting. The kicker is, I'm a current VA employee. This is just a transfer and I am waiting as if brand new to the VA. There is absolutely nothing new in my background from my last application to the VA, with the exception of my current VA position. Yet I wait for them to verify, verify, verify, and verify information that was already verified nearly four years ago when I came onboard. Hopefully with all this verification, they will find a way to give credit for accomplishments that my current employer chose to ignore.
Update: I just completed my first week at the new location. Finally! If you are still waiting, reach out to your HR recruiting specialist again. Don't forget to contact the credentialing specialist, as well, since he or she will know more about where you are than the HR specialist.

My first day is actually December 4th!
