HI, I am a student nurse, I have 2 semester left in school. I was wondering if any works for the VA Hospital?

:up::down: Do you like the hospital? Is it a good place to work? Just looking for some feedback.

Yes I work at the VA and I like it. The VA in Indianapolis that is. Are you an RN ? when do you graduate ? we get five weeks a yr of vacation time, that does not include 2 weeks for your military duty and not includes sick leave, so i can always go to the Catalina Wine mixer...

:D I will finish RN school the end of summer. 2 semesters left:yeah:How long have you worked for them? Are you in the military? I am not. I have a son in the Marines and my dad is a Vet.

Yes, I am in the Guard and Ive worked at the VA for 10 yrs now

:confused: I'm tooo old to join the guard !! But I have only heard good news from 3 RN"s that work there, no bad yet.

You need to apply now as a SNT, then graduate and start working as a RN.

good luck in school now, keep it real with the studying, and remember that there is

light at the end of the tunnel, Go out and celebrate when you do graduate like go to the Catalina

Wine Mixer or something....
