Hello. I am applying with a 4.0 GPA. I am scheduled to take my Teas at the end of September and also applying with no volunteer experience. I am currently enrolled in 2 of the 4 additional classes. I hope I do well on my teas and last two classes that it out weighs my lack of experience. Best of luck to you @woottenc
Hello everyone!
I am also applying to UWF's nursing program for the Summer 2019 cohort. I just took my TEAS; I scored 88%. I completed the volunteer hours, and I have all of the extra courses-- excepting patho (taking it now). My overall GPA is on the lower end, but my program GPA is a 3.9.
I think I might retake the TEAS and shoot for a 90% to be more competitive. I am very nervous and excited.
Hi all!
I am going to retake my TEAS at the end of this month because I took mine a year ago before I had any of the science classes and only got a 77.0
Overall GPA: 3.8
Pre Req GPA: 4.0
Completed 2 of the 4 classes, and currently taking the other two.
I have over 200 hours work experience at a hospital and 60 hours volunteering for hospice.
Does anyone know how much they weigh the TEAS? I have no issues in classes but obviously the TEAS has kicked my butt in the past.
Good luck everyone!

Hey I did not see a thread talking about Summer 2019's starting time. I have the bare minimum GPA of 3.02 and have not taken the TEAS yet. I also have taken all of the recommended courses and did the volunteer hours. I am hoping doing all of the recommended things and scoring high on the TEAS will get me in since my GPA in so low. I just wanted to see what other people are applying with!
