UW Madison nurse residency 2017 and 2018

Hi! I've recently been invited to an in-person interview for the university of wisconsin's Nurse residency program and their hospital and noticed that our cohort didn't have an allnurses page yet! Will anyone else be there on Friday for an interview?? Would love to hear

Awesome!! Do you know how many people were invited versus how many will get hired? The unit I'm interviewing for wasn't my top choice so I'm not sure how they're doing things @ampharos

That's a great question I wish I would have thought to ask today! I'm not sure how many people they interview, but it seemed today quite a few people were there. I think one of the recent graduates said that their cohort had 39 people in it.

I applied for the Winter 2018 (the one that starts in February) cohort. I was offered (and accepted) a position that starts next week! I think they called with the offer the week after Thanksgiving.

Hello! I applied for the Winter 2019 cohort at UW Health. I was wondering how long after you submitted your application did they ask you to submit your references? I submitted my application a week ago but I just wanted to get a time frame or I will keep checking my email multiple times a day. Lol!

I think I applied on a Monday or Tuesday and was called by an HR rep by the end of the week. I had a phone interview set up for the following week and right after the interview I got an email for my references!
