Utsw nurse residency july 2018

Hello all , I chose to start this discussion for those of us who are interviewing or have had the chance to interview for the Utsw nurse residency- July 2018 cohort. This just gives us a chance to talk about any feelings or ask any questions we may have regarding the program as we wait to find out our fate . The wait is going to seem long but at least we can do it together .. Welcome everyone!! Now let's mingle away:) :)

Hey! I interviewed for the NICU last monday! Do you know when we will hear back?

Hi! I interviewed on Thursday 2/1 for the ED.

I don't know when we are supposed to hear back, but starting next week I have a bad feeling I will be addicted to checking my email.

I interviewed for Surgical Services. The coordinator told me the earliest we would hear back is 2/13

Do you think they will release all the July 2018 residents at one time or each department is on its own schedule of letting interviewees know?

Welcome everyone!!

Every track is different so there is really no telling unless you email the recruiter/HR to be sure but I am guessing in the next two weeks or so.

Hey,

I looked at previous years and it seemed like every track would send out the acceptance/rejection emails or calls at different times so we can only wait and see.

I interviewed on Wednesday and I just got an offer today (WAY earlier than I was expecting).

Are y'all from Dallas? I'd really love to talk to somebody about the hospital since I am from out of state!

Hey there! I interviewed last week and just received an offer for ED. I have friends who interviewed for Acute Medical, ICU, & Progressive and haven't heard anything yet, so I'm sure they'll be getting an email sometime this week! Best of luck to everyone!
