UTMB Spring 2010

hey everyone i just thought i would let you know that i still have not heard from UTMB but i have heard from College of the mainland. I accepted com's offer. Its a new spring ADN program with only 20 people in the class. Which i think will be better for me because i have always done better in smaller classes. ALSO o want to wish everyone luck with UTMB's program. HAve a merry CHRISTMAS!

i'm about to buy my steth on allheart.com which All_is_on recommended. My aunt who is a nurse suggested that i buy a littmann steth because its one of the best ones out there. The steth combines both diaphragm and bell into one chest piece. I'm a noob, and don't know if all steths are like this or if i should buy one that requires you to flip from diaphragm to bell.

If it helps, I bought a littman classic. It was on sale for $63 I think. Regular $99 I believe. A friend told me that was a good one. I know nothing so I took her word for it. While I was on there I bought my pen light, badge holder and scissors.

awesome! good to know! i feel like i'm at such a disadvantage cause i don't have any experience. XD i'm a noob. i will probably get the penlights, scissors and so ons while i'm buying my steth. thanks for the recommendation!

i am so glad someone said something about the stethoscopes. it's been so long since i had to buy one, i wouldn't know where to start.
