UTMB Spring 2010

I think enrollment services is supposed to register us cuz I got a call that they didn't register me yet because my last transcript didn't come in yet. I don't think we do it ourselves.

Did they tell you they would not register you if you didn't turn those in or were they informing you?

They informed me that since it wasn't in, they could not register me. They did tell me I could register or be registered later in Jan as long as my transcript came in before school started.

Oh wow. I'm basically in the same boat. I didn't even get a call though. I would really hate to not be about to start because of the transcripts being missing.

Yeah I was freaking out, but I will be up at San Jac early on the 4th watching them fax mine over and then im going to call UTMB to make sure they get it!

Yeah, mine is coming from San Jac too. They don't have the electronic SPEEDE even though UTMB says that they do. So what is enrollment services telling you to do until then as far as classes and financial aid?

What I did to register for classes, I logged in to econnect clicked on the add classes, choose the classes form the email that was sent, it gave me a message stating that approval was needed for adding. I figured it wouldn't let me enroll because it needed to be done the day of orientation, but I checked a couple of days later and I was enrolled in all four classes and my proof was the balance due!!!!

Thats a pretty good idea. I saw the option for that but I didn't know if they wanted us to do that. Do you mind my asking if you had anything outstanding? Also, how long ago was this? Financial aid is supposed to be disbursed on the 31st, but since I have no balance due, I have no idea what it will do.

hey seale, I already got my first packet for my first test and school hasn't even started yet.

Can anyone please tell me if I need to do anything more than downloading the skyscape. I installed the skyscape to my iphone but I didn't actually get the programs that we need to buy. Do I have to buy them before the orientation day? The reason I couldn't do it is because it's asking me for a serial number. I put in my phone's serial # but didn't work. Where do I get the serial number.... I'm kinda confused. Another question... has anyone ordered the book that we're supposed to get from the publisher? Is there any way that we can get the book from elsewhere. thanks

I think that my transcripts were in the process of transfer, also I have not submitted any of the forms that were sent when accepted to the program. I was told I could mail them back or turn in on the day of orientation.

the book you are talking about has to be ordered from the dept of health. I checked online to try to order it but it seems like I have to call, which I will be doing tomorrow.

anyone know how much it cost?
