Thanks for the reply!
I strongly recommend getting the ATI study manual and buying practice exams A & B. I studied the ATI study manual and supplemented it with the Kaplan TEAS review book. I don't know if I can say this...but a tip for the practice exams is to take screen shots as you go along! You can only take each exam twice and they don't let you review what you got wrong after.
How it's set up: answer one question then they tell you if you got it right or wrong. Then the next question appears and so on. For me, I found that it was very annoying because I paid so much for the practice exams but couldn't review it whenever I wanted after completing the practice.
I also went to the nearest bookstore with a cafe and tried to take all the practice exams from different publishers they had available.
For the science section, definitely watching youtube videos helped! Crash course and Khan Academy really helped. And don't under-estimate the reading, english, and math section! Really try to be diligent in getting as much practice on these sections as well!!
On test day: What I found that helped me a lot was using up all the time allotted on each section. I never completed the section before the clock ran out. I reviewed each question, even if I thought it was an easy question. And then taking a short bathroom break between each section also really helped!
I didn't do amazingly well but I did see a slight improvement when I retook it. I went from a composite score of 81.3% to 88.7% Hope this helps and good luck!!
Hi! I am also planning on applying for the accelerated UTHSCSA nursing program for summer 2019. Is anyone else applying that are still taking science/math prerequisites? The application is due December 15th but I am unsure if my final grades will be finalized by then. Is anyone in the same boat as me?
It helps to take the practice test that are offered through the TEAS website. They prepared me the most. I studied extremely hard for about a week. I got a few practice books and brought them with me everywhere. I pre tested before studying at the beginning of the week and got a 79. Each practice test (with study) got a little better. I finished my studying by taking the online practice test like I said and it helped so much. The practice test was formatted a lot like the test, and took all of my stress away. I took the test and it stressed me out the entire weekend (I took it Friday, and did not get the results till like the following Tuesday) My final grade was a 92. I did the worst in the grammar department. My only regret was not studying that section more.

Hey guys! I haven't seen a thread for the Accelerated BSN for summer 2019, so I decided to make one. The deadline for admission is December 15th!
I still haven't taken my TEAS exam since I still need to finish some of my prereqs this summer. But once I get it done I will post my TEAS and gpa stats on here! Feel free to comment something down below :)
