UTHSC Houston - Fall 2016 Applicants

Hey there applicants of FALL 2016!

I know this is a bit early...but I just wanted to get this thread started so that I know I'm not alone. I've read through almost all the other threads from previous years, and they've made me so stressed out that I've decided I need to get a support group of my own! Lol. SO IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE, WE'RE IN THIS TOGETHER!!

Also just to update you guys on my current situation, I'm still finishing the rest of my prereqs(which will take about a semester and a half for me) and I still need to take my HESI(lots to do!). I'll also be attending the information seminar on May 22nd.

Excited to hear from all of you soon :) This is going to be a crazy ride, haha

Hey! I'm not entirely sure if I'll apply for summer or fall 2016, I may even shoot for spring if I can finish my prereqs in time! I'm currently a third year at UT Austin for Human Development and Family Sciences (which is my 3rd change in majors), and I'm trying to either get into UTHSC Houston or UTMB Galveston. I have most of my prereqs done for both colleges (I just need A&P, Microbio, and Development/Lifespan psych course, which I'll be taking at a community college), need to take both my HESI and my TEAS V, and then bump up my extracurriculars. (I decided on nursing school after failing to continue with my BS in Public Health because of mental health issues, so it's kind of a late start.) I'm not sure if I'll attend a seminar anytime soon, but it's nice to meet you! My name is Madi btw, and, fun fact, I'm vegan as well! Best of luck to you!

Hey it's nice to meet you too! I'm Alli btw, and awesome! I'm actually a kinesiology/Pre-physical therapy major right now at UNT(sophomore), but after this semester I'm going to finish my prereqs at a community college as well. So far I'm only planning on applying to UTHSC but we'll see! And depending on how soon I can finish my prereqs, I'm looking into summer or fall 2016. Maybe even spring 2017 if I need to.
