UTHealth Pacesetter BSN - How can I prepare after admitted?

Published

Hello! I need serious advice :dead: on how to get through the nursing program at UTHealth.

I hear that it is very competitive to get in and very stressful to be in.

I have applied for Spring 2019 and just waiting for results.

Basically, I want to ask how I can overcome being stressed in the program.

1. Any advice on the best way to study? Whether its to study with a group of friends, or make a quizlet or something. I heard that quizzes/exams are the "a,b, and c are all correct, but c is most correct" types and I would like to know how I should be studying for that.

2. What are clinicals? What do you do in there, how many are they in a week?

3. If there is anyone in the honors program, how is it?

4. What do you do to make the most out of the program?

5. Is it possible or impossible to work while in the program? If so, any recommendations on how many hours I should limit work in a week to?
