UTHealth BSN to DNP Fall 2022 Application

Hello! I have not found a thread for this application period so I wanted to reach out to see if anyone is applying. Deadline originally January 10 was extended to May 15. I submitted my nursingcas on January 21 and have not heard anything yet, did not get a confirmation for UT that they received it. Let me know if you’ve had a similar experience!

Hi there!

Our situations aren't exactly the same but I will describe my timeline so you can have some idea. I applied for AGACNP BSN-DNP Fall 2022.

Oct 14, 2021: Submitted NursingCAS app

Oct 21: Received email from UTHealth to submit supplemental app, documents, and fees

Oct 22: Email from Cizik saying app is under review

Nov 12: Invitation to interview

Nov 15: Interviewed via WebEx

Jan 11, 2022: Notified of acceptance via email (My status changed to admitted on ApplyUTH a couple weeks before this)

 

Keep in mind I submitted way early so that might be why it was so streamlined. Hope this helps!

Hello! I am apply for fall of 2023, I wanted to know what the interview was? I know it is 15min, but is it an essay response of an automatic set of questions.

Hi Amy,

My interview was with a professor back in January. It was very informal, simple and straight to the point via Microsoft Teams.

I have an interview coming up this month. What kind of questions did they ask? I'm extremely nervous and trying to prepare to the best of my ability?
