UTA or return to Collin College

I've been reading about UT Arlingrton's AP-BSN program. I am an LVN now. I have a lot of college credits (nearly 200), but no degree (I was a career student in my 20s lol).

I applied and was accepted into Collin Colleges nursing program and started this past spring. Due to some testing anxiety in skills lab I failed my IV/IVPB test. I performed this skill numerous times in the lab but during testing I failed. I'm getting help for the anxiety, but now that I failed the skill in that kind of testing environment I'm wondering if a different program might be better. I am still eligible for readmission to Collin College so getting into UTA isn't an issue since it will just show up as a withdraw on my my transcripts, not a fail.

Considering that I have so many college credits already and the pace of the program, I'm strongly considering the AP-BSN. Can LVN's apply to this program or does the LVN license put me at a disadvantage?

Is there anyone here that has gone to Collin and UTA that might offer their perspective on the difference in programs? I'm already enrolled and accepted into Collin so it makes it easier but at the same time, I think I'd just rather get my BSN in the same amount of time as it would take me to get my RN.

Anyone with any knowledge about the programs and/or how the skills labs work at UTA, your input would be greatly appreciated.

Also, what is the tone of the UTA program? Is it supportive or cut throat? Is it organized or do you kind of "wing it"? What are clinicals like? I haven't read anything negative really about UTA. What are some of its cons?

Lastly, I added a poll. Which would you choose? Collin College with a BSN fast tract to Tech or TWU or UTA?
