I went through this online 15 month program and graduated over a year ago.Like any nursing program, UTA is selective in their candidate so good grades are definitely to your advantage. My pre-req courses were mostly A's and a couple of B's. I knew people that had gotten accepted with a below 3.0 GPA. I don't know if that depends on the amount/quality of the applicants each semester. I was wait listed initially and then offered a spot in the online program a month or so after offer letters had been sent.
Scoring well on HESI and working at a partnered hospital will definitely help also. If you want to increase your GPA I would focus on repeating science courses (that's if you want to; you can always chance it with c's)
Best of luck.
