From research I have done...I think it is the same as a regular degree. My first degree is online--BS in Psychology. I also think it is just the academic part online. The clinicals are done in a hospital. Texas Tech offers a very similar program. It is one year with classes on line. The hands on stuff is done at the local hospitals. If I don't get into UTHSCSA or Texas State SON--I'm going to apply at both of those.

Hi guys!I am considering doing the online bsn program offered through UTA. Im debating on whether or not I should apply for this program or go ahead and try UTMB, UTHSCH, and TWU. The cost of this program is half the price of what I would pay at others. The only problems is I am not sure how much outside help I would get because I wouldn't actually be in class.
Another thing is do you think it would be harder to find a job because it is a "online degree" I think that some employers would look down upon that??
What are your thought about this? Should I go for it? Would it be easier to get in?
My science GPA is a 3.6 and overall 3.5
