I'm thinking about starting in January 2018 as well. According to the adviser there, they have a 97% retention rate and a 97% pass rate. I think that says a lot. Also, I believe it really depends on what one puts into it in terms of studying and finding the right preceptor/precepting experience.
I agree in regards to your last statement. I have made up my mind and will go through with UTA. I am just waiting for the acceptance. I was just told that they are working on acceptance for November start date and will then work on the spring acceptance. What concerns me is that the last 13 week of clinicals is 360 hrs which sounds difficult to do when I work a M-F 8-5 job. Luckily clinicals are until the end of the program and many things can happen from now until then. I am just ready and excited to embark in this FNP journey.

Hello,
I have submitted an application to start this upcoming year at UT Arlington. I am a California RN. I would love to hear the opinions of fellow nurses who are in the program or have completed the FNP program online. I did the BSN also through UTA and enjoyed it but reading through some of these stories is scaring me and am second guessing my decision.
Thank you in advance.
