UTA AP FNP program start date AUG 10 2015

Hey Everyone! I am just trying to figure out if anyone has been accepted to the AP FNP program at UTA for the Aug 10 2015 start date.

With only 3 weeks left I was hoping to hear one way another.

For anyone that has already started; how is going? Any tips? Is it crazy to do with toddlers at home?

I applied for the September start date so I am not help to you. But I am interested in seeing others stats and when acceptance letters are sent.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your stats? Overall GPA, years and type experience, nursing GPA? I am anxious to hear from them!

So glad this thread was started! I have a bunch of questions. I am starting on August 10th as well and was wondering if we needed to have the certified profile completed by then or before clinicals? Also, what kind of webcam did y'all buy? Are you renting the textbooks or buying them? Sorry for all the questions :X. My overall GPA wasn't too great 3.26 and I have two years experience in a high acuity Pedi CVICU.

I am also starting the UTA FNP program on Aug 10th, and received my acceptance letter the first week of July. I have most of my certified profile complete but waiting to hear back from the school on requirements for Influenza immunization proof since it is not flu season. I bought my books for theory but have not purchased my webcam as I am unsure as to when we need it. My overall GPA is 3.78, I have six years of nursing, four in OB and two in Critical Care. I look forward to connecting with others in this program!
