UT School of Nursing- Houston pre-req questions

I thought I'd post this here in the hopes of garnering a response rather than in my existing thread about going back to school.

I'm going to UofH Downtown for these first 2 semesters, and I see that for some of my pre-reqs have choices: I can take Intro to Chemistry (+Lab), or General Chemistry (+Lab).

Is that right? I can actually take only Intro to Chem to fulfill the requirement? Did anyone else go to UH Downtown for a bit of their pre-reqs and recommend anything else?

I also attend UHD and I found it easier and more cheaper to take my pre req at a community college..... But everything you said is absolutely true..... I start microbiology on july 12th so let me know if you need any help or any notes for a class... Good luck to you

What was your experience with A&P I? I'm presuming you've taken it? I'm enrolled for this Fall. I'm curious as I see there is only 1 teacher, and I read iffy things about her on ratemyprof.

If it is the same lady she is really nice, but extremely hard, I ended up droppong her class and retaking it at HCC and I received an A in A and P 1 and 2, Now dont get me wrong it was tough at HCC as well, you are really going to have to study and read those chapters, and Study the powerpoint, because most of their question come from the powerpoints.... Just study and you will do fine... Good Luck to you! If you need any help let me know...
