UT Health Spring 2018 FNP

Hello!

Has anyone applied to UT Health Houston for their MSN? I am worried one of my rec letters won't make it in time. Anyone else know about the application process?

Hi!

I applied for the Spring 2018 FNP program as well. My rec letters were late by a couple of days but my application status shows that it is under review. I'm hoping that means they are considering my application despite that! Have you heard anything back yet?

No I haven't! Lately the website to check my application hasn't been letting me log in. Have you had this problem? I think the website was under construction. Last I saw my application was complete though, just under review!

Yes, I did have that problem. I called the help desk about it and was given the website to go to. It's apply.uth.tmc.edu Let me know if that one works for you!

When I called for information in September, I was told we would be informed by mid-November. Looking back at some of the allnurses forums, it seems like last year's applicants were being informed of their admission status at this time. I'm guessing Hurricane Harvey may have caused some delays in the application review process this year.

I haven't heard anything back yet! For some reason my to-do list says previous statistics course. It used to not say anything. It has me worried! Let's keep updated on when we hear ANYTHING!

I will definitely post on here with any updates I have! Did either of you attend one of the info sessions? I'm curious how many students they accept each cohort.

I was checking out some of the other threads and noticed that UTHSC-Houston's BSN applicants started receiving their acceptance letters October 26th. Hopefully we hear something soon (or didn't get passed up! lol).
