Hey everyone. I am posting this to see if there is anybody out there familiar with the online RN-BSN program at UT Health in Houston? I am currently in my RN transition program and am eligible to start early applications for BSN programs in a couple of weeks. I have seen lots of info about the more popular programs like UTA, WGU, GCU and Texas Tech, but almost nothing on UT Health's program here in Houston. It seems relatively new, but they have a fantastic reputation with their Pacesetter BSN, FNP and CRNA programs. Am wondering how this one compares.
Does anybody have any experience with this program? Level of difficulty, layout of classes and workload? I would love to give it a go, but have a hard time taking the plunge without having any input, and as such, am leaning towards UTA.

So I applied for UT Health for their early decision program back in August of last year. I graduate from my ADN program in May and would start with them in the Fall. My application still says pending review. On top of that, every time I have tried to reach out to them, I have been transferred from one person to the next telling me I need to talk to somebody else about it. Because of their overall mishandling of the application process, I have decided to forego them altogether and go to UTA. I did the online interest form at UTA and within a day or two had someone calling me on the phone. She literally walked me through the entire application process click by click until I was finished to make sure it was submitted correctly. She also saved me from answering a bunch of unnecessary stuff on their application. She also gave me the direct line to the admissions adviser to answer questions about pre-requisiste fulfillment. I was leaning away from UTA because they require technical writing, but they have been so great so far compared to UT Health, I will gladly take the extra class and go with them.
One of my co-workers started UTAs program about a month ago and she has been very satisfied with the experience so far.
Thank you SO much for the feedback!
