UT Austin School of Nursing

Hi, I am a high school senior planning to apply to UT Austin as a Nursing major. I know that if you are in the top 7% of your class, you are automatically admitted into the university, but not necessarily the major. With that being said, I know that UT has changed their nursing program to where once you get accepted as a freshmen, you do not have to apply for the upper division courses as you are automatically in. I wanted to know how competitive it is to be accepted into this major and what particular stats the school is looking for. I am in the top 7% of my class and my SAT scores are in the 1200s...if anybody knows please let me know.
