USF (University of South Florida) Nursing Program

Hi everyone,

I have been accepted into the nursing program at USF for Fall 2022, and I was wondering if anyone knew if the program was a direct-entry program, or dual admission (aka applying again after sophomore year?) The website seems to suggest the former -- as long as a GPA of at least 3.6 was maintained --, but a USF counselor mentioned additional progression criteria that would need to be met (like an interview) in order to continue to the upper division courses, which makes it sound like there is some level of filtration that occurs. 

Any other advice or feedback about the program would be greatly appreciated too!
