USF FP Fall 19

Anyone out there applying for University of South FL MS-FNP program for fall 19? Did you get an Interview? Were you accepted and, or otherwise? Please share. I have applied, and was interviewed on 3/12, but had no response after that...Anyone with a similar experience? Any insight? Thank you.

I applied to USF acute gerontology NP program. interviewed 3/25. no word yet. The wait is killing me!

I interviewed on 3/17 for MS-FNP and haven’t heard anything yet either!

Are you applying full-time or part-time?

Full time! And I made a typo, I interviewed on 3/27 not 3/17! Lol

Oh, so they were still conducting interviews after the 3/15. I don't know why I thought they were done by 3/15. Then maybe that is a good sign, they are still interviewing and evaluating. I thought they were long done, and no one returned back to me so I began losing hope, lol. I feel better now. I applied for full time too!

I got my recommendation for acceptance email today!! I am doing the acute gerontology program though. So not sure if they sent out FNP acceptances yet but my email was in my spam so make sure you check there!

Hey Classmates! I applied 2/21; interviewed 3/26; and accepted 4/11 to the FNP program at USF. Congrats all and see you in June for Orientation! ?

hello ?

Congratulations on getting accepted! It must be so exciting ?Can anyone share if the program requires a lot of on campus classes? I live about 2 hours from the campus and still working on my BSN. I am looking at different options and this program comes up as one of the best ones in FL. I know it is competitive admission and will be based on GPA/references etc. but I am looking for input on increasing my chances of admission. If you have been admitted to the program, how much and what kind of RN experience did you have upon admission? Any other advice you think can help someone who is interested in this program?

Thank you so much for all your help!

I was interviewed 3/29 and received acceptance on 4/11 for part time FNP! Good luck everyone!
