I am having an argument with my facilty's IT department, which claims that a very cumbersome and annoying PIN is required to unlock our MC40s (in addition to the Vocera app's user-specific PIN. I would really appreciate it if any nurses who use MC40s at other facilities could tell me if they have to deal with this extra PIN. If you're comfortable with disclosing, it would be helpful to know what facility you're at, so that I can cite which other facilities aren't requiring the PIN.
