Hello all,I graduate with my BSN in 4 months and I would like to attend USAGPAN after completing a couple years of SICU experience.
I was wondering if some of you out there who are either attending or have graduated from the Army program would be able to answer a question for me.
According to the AMEDD website an undergrad biochem or O-chem course is required.
William Beaumont Army Medical Center — Admission Requirements
Would this be satisfied by an intro to O-chem/biochem course? If not, do they mean a full year of O-chem or just O-chem I? The website is very vague on this point. Has anyone here been accepted with an introductory biochem course?
Intro is not usually accepted, but I know a lot of military CRNAs used the Univ of New England online biochem course as their prereq. Online Distance Medical Biochemistry

Thanks WTB,
Looks interesting. I never would have guessed you could take a biochem course online. I also like the fact that it is medically focused thereby bypassing all the photosynthesis etc that has no bearing on human patient care.
