Hey all,
I'm finishing up my FNP, but will be returning for ACAGNP in the fall in a post-masters cert. Currently an O-2 in the Army National Guard, thinking of making a switch and trying to assess active component USAF as either an FNP or an ACAGNP. Anyone here have any insights into this? Currently working as a critical care nurse >2 years. Not sure if I should try now as a critical care nurse (adult) or wait as an FNP, or then again presuming I finish my AC cert. Any advice/insight appreciated. Still waiting to here back from the recruiters.
Army and Navy don't officially utilize acute care NPs, so USAF seems to be the way to go.
