US LVN to BSN (Foreign country)

Published

I have been a lvn for more than two years, and i am planning to go back to my country (Philippines) to take my BSN. Since i have already a bachelor's degree (not a science course) in the Philippines, and having lvn license and experience here in US, i am thinking i might take my BSN there in the Philippines for a shorter period of time instead of the traditional four/five-year course. Am i right?

That being said, i am looking for schools in the Philippines that would accommodate second degree coursers like me? Would somebody please help me look for schools and maybe the phone numbers or contact persons from the school that i can call or get information from?

Thanks so much. I might go there to start school next year. :specs:

i'm a second courser too. i took BSN for 3 years since a regular student which means i took all the minor subjects that were not in my previous course. here in davao city there are schools who are offering SPECIAL PROGRAM for 2nd coursers. you will only need around 2 years in order for you to finish your BSN. Since you're and LVN...i'm not sure if your previous subjects in LVN will be credited in BSN.

here are some schools:

1. Brokenshire College - Davao City

2. Mindanao Medical Foundation College - Davao City

3. Tecarro Medical School Foundation College - Davao City

4. Arriesgado Medical Foundation College - Tagum City but they do have classes here in davao city

5. North Valley College Foundation - Kidapawan City but they also conduct classes here in Davao City

...just try to find their websites...if not i'll try to provide you with contact numbers soon...good luck!

thank u so much!

Where did you get your BSN?

This is a big help for me. Ive never been to Davao City before, but it will be a good start to find school for 2nd coursers. ill try looking for the websites of the schools you listed.
